elevator pitch number 3

https://youtu.be/P5SCfPCXnZM Based on my feedback from my first pitch (my second didn't upload correctly), I have made solid progress in becoming more convincing and preparing myself better prior to the pitch. The only feedback I received was to prepare my pitch more because in my first video I was nonchalant in how I recorded and got ready. In my recent video I put more emphasis into practicing my pitch and giving a better effort.

napkin idea (revised)

Hey guys! My name is Kerry Thomas and I'm a finance major here at the University of Florida. I grew up on Long Island in New York where I spent most of my time doing outdoor activities. These activities included: lacrosse, hunting, fishing, boating, beaching it, and more. My appreciation for my environment is endless and I want to help keep it beautiful and safe. The current trend of environmental destruction via pollution and human ignorance bothers me and that is why I chose the idea that I did. Customers, what I offer to you is a way to save money as well as a way to contribute towards a cleaner environment. My idea, the Eco-Shredder is a machine which breaks down plastic waste into tiny pieces. Each week, these bits would be collected along with your other garbage. This is my customer avatar. I think of this person as someone like myself in their early twenties who are looking to make a difference and change the world for the better. It is definitely not a coincidence that I would imagine someone who is likeminded to myself to be a user of my product.

Figuring out buyer behavior pt 2

The segment of people that I decided to interview werre boaters. I asked questions about the buying process of purchasing a boat and what they looked for when they were making their decision. After conducting my three interviews I learned a lot about these purchaseers decision making before, during and after the purchase decision. I learned that pepople making especially big purchases take a lot of time time to analyze their options. All of the purchasers spend considerable tie evaluating all fo the alternatives in their boat buying decisions. During the decision every buyer went into buying the boat confidently because they had put in their work by doing good research, so making the actuall purchase wasn't a big deal. The buyers post...

Halfway Reflection

1.) Entrepreneurship is a course that requires a lot of diligence because of the many weekly assignments. Over the first half of the course, I have learned to think quickly and creatively. These are skills that come in handy when you have complex assignments such as solving a real-world problem. 2.) When I ever feel like giving up, I simply look back to my past accomplishments in life and think of the moment before those accomplishments and remember to myself that if I had quit at that moment I would have never done all of the great things that I have. I think this mindset is the core source of my tenacity. The main experience that taught me how to really work hard was my wrestling career. Wrestling is the hardest sport there is. The sport is the only high school sport that requires the successful athletes to be committed 24/7 7 days a week. I learned how to lose up to 20 pounds in a matter of a couple of weeks all so that I could have success in the sport. 3.) My fi...
