Celebrating Failure

Like professor Pryor explained during lecture, we will fail in our lives countless times. When you are going through hard times it's not about being able to find an instant solution, but to be resilient and to keep working despite the lack of success. An example of me failing in my past would be when I took a big hit in my lacrosse game two weeks ago. I usually can avoid hits but I was fatigued and took the hit. I suffered a concussion and was forced to lay in bed for over a week. This was a huge setback for me being so late in the semester, so I was given the option to medically withdraw from school. I decided that I wouldn't let this one failure define all of the hard work that I put in the entire semester and got back to work as soon I was mentally able to. I took the hard path and I believe I can still finish with a good GPA. I have learned a lot about tenacity in this class, and I have to credit what I learned in entrepreneurship to my positive attitude today. I am now willing to embrace failure with open arms and get right back to work.
