Exit Strategy

I intend to keep my business under my name for the long run. The "Eco-Shredder" is something that I have put a lot of thought and effort into. I respect people who sell their businesses to larger companies for profit, but that is never a route I would be willing to take. When you sell the rights to your idea you are forced to watch it go down routes that you would never intend it to. Even if there is less profit to be made from taking this route I believe its worth it to keep your business model on track and in line with your values. I think my exit strategy has influenced my business decisions to be more long-term because I know that I will be sticking with my ideas for the duration of my business and not selling it off. My strategy has made me more patient with my business growth and allowing the right opportunities to come to me. I won't be afraid to pass up on a deal so that I can wait for a better one to come.

  1. Hey Kerry!
I think you have a great attitude in wanting to keep and grow your product. It's good to see you that you see long term potential in your idea and you are willing to stick behind it. Values are important in a company and its good to see you've built your business idea around the fact that you will be keeping this product up and running. Often times the best deal you receive is not the first one so its good to look to the future for opportunity.
